Phase one of your remodel or new construction project is to schedule the initial design consultation. The fee for consultations is $150 per hour (one hour minimum). For remodel projects, this consultation meeting generally takes place at the residence; new construction consultations take place in our showroom and clients are asked to bring floor plans and/or drawings, as well as any additional materials that will aid in design (i.e. photos that portray a certain style of color scheme.) In the consultation we will evaluate your project scope, discuss what you want to achieve and help you determine what you need to budget in order to accomplish your goals.
Phase two after your consultation is the Retainer Contract is signed. The retainer includes a site measure, drafting of the new plans and elevations with details, as well as the necessary plans/documents to secure a building permit. We will also present a design scheme on the style and finish of products as well as the provide drawings for your project. The amount of the Retainer Contract is based on the total estimated cost of the entire project which includes any construction, cabinetry, flooring, countertops, and appliances. This amount will be applied back toward the overall project contracts. Please feel free to give a call with any questions regarding our Retainer Contract.
